My Greatest Journey’s is a division of World Sports Alliance, Inc. and these two names will be considered interchangeable for the purpose of this agreement as well as on any other forms or documents provided by this company.

Receipt of your payment by My Greatest Journeys or World Sports Alliance toward any travel services constitutes a contractual arrangement between you and World Sports Alliance and represents your acceptance of World Sports Alliance Terms & Conditions as stated here. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

Your Tour Price Includes:  International Airfare from a designated gateway airport for Air-Inclusive Tours. Airport   transfers on the tour departure and return dates (only), ground transportation as indicated, tour manager and guides as indicated, accommodations as indicated, meals as indicated, sightseeing excursions including admission fees as indicated, hotel and land taxes, gratuities for tour guides, baggage handlers and waiters for included meals, equipment and other items as indicated. These inclusions do not apply for custom tours.

What is Not Included on the Tour:  Airfares (unless indicated), passport fees, laundry services, phone calls, meals not indicated in the itinerary, gratuities not listed on the tour information sheet,  items of a personal nature, excess baggage and baggage handling, optional tours and excursions not listed on the itinerary.  These exclusions do not apply to custom tours.

Itinerary Changes:  Sequence of events and places visited may change from the order shown on our website or in our printed literature due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.  During local or national holidays, certain facilities such as museums and restaurants, sightseeing tours, and shopping may be limited or not available. Alternatives will be offered whenever possible.  

Participation:  For the benefit of everyone on your tour, My Greatest Journey’s reserves the right to accept or reject any travel participant and to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interests of the other participants.

Travelers Who Need Special Assistance:  You must report any disability requiring special attention to My Greatest Journey’s at the time the reservation is made. My Greatest Journeys will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of disabled travelers, but is not responsible in the event it is unable to do so, nor is it responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other independent suppliers. Be aware that outside the U.S. the Americans with Disabilities Act is not applicable and facilities for disabled individuals are limited. Most transportation services, including motorcoaches, are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. A qualified and physically able companion must accompany a traveler who will require special assistance, and must assume total responsibility for their well being.

Tour Price and Guarantee:  Accommodations are based on double occupancy (unless otherwise indicated). Single room supplements are listed where applicable.  All tour prices are based on rates (including foreign exchange rates) known at the time of printing and expected to be in effect at the time of departure. Prices are subject to increase without notice if such rates change prior to departure. The current price will be confirmed at the time of reservation. However, once My Greatest Journey’s has received your deposit for any of our land only tour package that land price will be guaranteed, and any subsequent land-cost increases are at our expense, not including land surcharges and any government tax increases. For Air Inclusive Tour Packages My Greatest Journey’s will guarantee the tour price only after full payment has been made on that tour.

Billing Errors: In the case of billing errors, we reserve the right to re-invoice with correct pricing.

Identification Required for All Flights:  Travelers must provide positive identification in the form of a valid passport or photo-drivers license at the time of airport check in. Individual air carriers may differ in their identification requirements. It is the traveler’s responsibility to show up at the airport prepared with the proper identification for check-in.: Due to airline security measures, your photo ID or passport name must match your airline ticket name and your tour reservation name or you may be denied aircraft boarding.

Passport & Visas Required for International Travel:  Each U.S. citizen must have a valid passport for international travel including for Canada and Mexico. The expiration date of passports should be at least 6 months after the return date of tour. If you don’t have a passport, call our office and we’ll tell you how to apply for one. Some countries require visas for entry by U.S. citizens. We will send visa applications and instructions if a visa is required for your tour. Holders of non-U.S. passports should contact their nearest consulate and inquire about the necessary passport or visa documentation required for entry into the countries visited.

Young Travelers: Due to heightened security, many countries have adopted practices to prevent international abductions of children. If a child will be traveling with adults other than the parents or with only one parent, it is recommended that a notarized letter be written by the parents or non-traveling parent granting authorization to travel, including the dates of travel. We suggest that you also contact the appropriate consulate and airlines because they may have additional requirements.

Making Your Reservation:  Reservations can be made by contacting My Greatest Journey’s at 888-972-8687 or 719- 260-8625. A tour deposit is required within 7 days of making a reservation. The reservation will be automatically dropped if the deposit is not received within 7 days. We accept checks or money orders payable to World Sports Alliance or My Greatest Journey’s as well as Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.

Payment Terms for Land-only Tour Packages:  A non-refundable deposit of $150 per traveler is required to reserve your space on any of our land-only tour packages. Space on a tour will not be confirmed until the deposit is actually received by World Sports Alliance. Your deposit will apply toward your tour cost.

60 days prior to the tour start date 50% of the total tour cost is due

45 days prior to the tour start date final payment is due.

Payment Terms for Air Inclusive Packages:  A non-refundable deposit of $300 per traveler is required for us to reserve space for you on a tour. Space on a tour will not be confirmed until the deposit is actually received by World Sports Alliance.  Your deposit will apply toward your tour cost.

90 days prior to the tour start date 35% of the total tour cost is due.

60 days prior to the tour start date 70% of the total tour cost is due.

45 days prior to the tour start date 100% of the total tour cost is due.

Failure to meet payment deadlines: We reserve the right to cancel any reservation for failure to make payment on time as specified above. Removal from a tour, due to a late payment, will be treated by My Greatest Journey’s as a Participant Cancellation and cancellation penalties will apply as indicated below.

 

Cancellation / Refunds:  All cancellation requests must be in writing, and are in effect (24) hours after the date they reach our office. A notification of cancellation received on a Friday or over the weekend will be recorded as received the following business day.  A participant may cancel from a tour prior to 60 days of departure and receive a full refund less his/her non-refundable tour deposit and any premium paid on travel insurance.   If cancellation is recorded 60 days or less prior to the tour departure the following Cancellation Schedule applies.

World Sports Alliance strongly encourages participants purchase optional travel insurance to protect their tour investment in the event of an unforeseen reason to cancel.

Disclosure and Disclaimer:  My Greatest Journey’s and World Sports Alliance Inc. acts as a mere agent for suppliers in selling travel services or booking reservations for services not directly supplied by this company such as air, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, sports competitions etc.  Neither World Sports Alliance Inc. or My Greatest Journey’s, shall be responsible for breach of contract, failure to comply with any laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers which result in any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to travelers or travelers companions or groups members.

 

Neither World Sports Alliance Inc. or My Greatest Journey’s shall be responsible for any injuries, damages or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments or any other actions, omissions or activities outside the control of My Greatest Journey’s or World Sports Alliance Inc..  Travelers assume complete and full responsibility for and hereby release My Greatest Journey’s and World Sports Alliance, Inc. from any duty of checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination or other entry requirements of each destination and all safety and security conditions of such destinations during the length of the proposed travel.  For information concerning possible dangers at international destinations contact the Travel Advisory Section of the US State Dept 202-647-5225. For medical information call the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) 404-639-3534.  By embarking upon his/her travel the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel whether expected or unexpected.  Traveler is hereby warned of the above risks as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical and climatic disruptions and the possibility traveler may be unable to travel as scheduled because of personal emergency.
